Linda Kay Fletcher, 70, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at Augusta Medical Center. A graveside funeral service will be held for Ms. Fletcher at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. Patricia Slack will give a eulogy. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 7, 2022, from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born January 22, 1952, in Tifton, Ms. Fletcher was the daughter of Betty Geoghagan Fletcher of Tifton and the late Willie Jack Fletcher. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Fletcher. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her mother, Ms. Fletcher is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandra and Paul Gillam and Debbie and Shine Rankin, Sr., all of Tifton; her aunt and uncle, Gene and Patricia Slack of Tifton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
