Andrew continued his passion for driving by becoming an official Carriage Driver for the City of Boston. Andrew traveled the city not only providing for his family, but he furthered his connections to people and such gave his life abundant happiness.
As time flew by, Andrew and Hyacinth had children: Sasia, Latoya, Christopher, and Bianca. Life became not only about furthering his passion for driving, but about being present in the lives of his children. Fatherhood took him to different heights wherein he learned about what it meant to attend parent meetings. The good and not so good meetings. He developed relationships with teachers and bus drivers whom he learned to see as protectors of his children. He grew fond of witnessing graduations and seeing his children go far in life. Family meant a lot to Andrew and although, at times, life threw its curve balls into his family and his ability to parent, he continued working on bettering his relationship with his family. Andrew’s connection with God was also present in his life. He was reminded of the importance of God in his life by his wife Hyacinth and she was persistent in encouraging Andrew to build a relationship with him. Andrew lived out the remaining years of life doing what he loved; supporting his family, meeting people, and smiling his biggest smile whenever possible.
