FAIRHAVEN… James K. Andresen, age 75, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA.
Born in Medford, MA, James was son of the late Robert C. and Florence (Hartley) Andresen.
James served his country in the United States Army as a captain in the 101st Airborne Division. During his service, he was a helicopter pilot, where he received The Purple Heart. After his discharge from the military, James went on to obtain his Bachelor’s degree from Christopher Newport University. He then pursued a career in life insurance and later worked as a real estate broker through his own business, Homeport Realty.
James enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, often hanging out at Antonio’s. He was also known to admire muscle cars.
Survivors include: daughter, Tammy Cotton of Winter Haven, FL; sons, Justin Andresen (Jodi) of Marion, MA and Tyler Andresen (Rebecca) of Newport News, VA; sister, Jennifer Ciprano (Pat) of Marion, MA; and three grandchildren, Mackenzie, Davis & Karli.
A Celebration of Life and interment at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne will take place at a later date.
