WORCESTER__Virginia M. (DeSavage) Laskowski, 90, of Worcester, passed at home with loving family by her side on Monday, May 2, 2022, Her husband of 59 years, A. Joseph Laskowski died in 2012.
Virginia leaves her daughter, Cheryl A. Parent and her husband Wayne, with whom she made her home, a son-in-law, Kevin Elie, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her son, Joseph A. Laskowski died in 2017 and a daughter, Virginia A. Elie died in 2016. Virginia was born in Worcester a daughter of the late John and Anna (Zuromski) DeSavage and was the last surviving of 14 siblings. Virginia lived in Worcester for many years and also spent time during retirement on Cape Cod.
Mrs. Laskowski was a press operator and inspector for 21 years at Parker Mfg Co., later Stanley Mfg Co., and retired in 1991. Virginia was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.
She loved spending time with family and she loved her pastries. Virginia enjoyed crocheting, trips to the casino and was always up for a good game of cards.
The funeral will be held on Thursday May 5, 2022 from HENRY – DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, with a Mass at 11:00 A.M. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M.
