Martin Skipper Andrade, 64, of New Bedford, passed away April 27, 2022 after a brief illness.
Born and raised in New Bedford, Skipper was the son of Peter Andrade and the late Julia B. Andrade.
Skipper was a member of the U.S. Army before before being medically discharged. He was closely affiliated with Holy Name Church.
Skipper is survived by his brothers, Keith Andrade, Scott Andrade, Jon Andrade, and Mark Andrade all of New Bedford, Marko Lopes of Fall River, and Skip Lopes of North Carolina; four sisters, Jessi Andrade of New Bedford, Barbi Andrade of Rhode Island, Nadine Rodriguez of Westport, and Crystal Gibbs of Worcester; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He is predeceased by his siblings, Craig Andrade, Kenneth Andrade, Brian Lee Andrade, Don De Andrade, Robert "Bobby" Barboza and Kim Lee Fortes.
Services will be held at a later date.
