Obituary


Boylston: Joseph A A Jolin, 78, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 30, 2022 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center University Campus. He leaves his wife of 38 years Patricia A. (Kimball) Jolin; 7 children- Kish Figueroa and her husband David of Charlton, Mark Jolin of Holden, Stephanie Higgins and her husband James of Oxford, Mark Stone and his wife Barrie of SC, Rob Stone of Worcester, Jason Stone and his wife Marlana of Hopedale, and Kristen Espanet and her husband Jamie of Douglas; 16 grandchildren; siblings Lucien Jolin and his wife Jean of Southbridge, Patty Simonelli of Sturbridge, and Ruby Richardson of Winchester; and several nieces and nephews.

Joe was born in Southbridge , son of the late Jean and Bertrade (Gagne) Jolin. He graduated from Southbridge High School, took several classes at Worcester State College, and proudly served his country for 3 years in the United States Army. He worked as a carpenter in the construction industry for many years, most recently at Pulte Home Builders. He enjoyed fishing, grilling, playing cards and spending time with family. He also enjoyed vacationing with his wife at Disney. He had a great sense of humor and lived a wonderful life with his wife Pat.

A calling hour will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 10-11 a.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Boylston. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's memory may be made to either the Boylston Ambulance Fund or Veterans Inc.
