EASTHAMPTON – Bradlee Joseph “Brad” Nadeau, 25, of Easthampton, was Called Home on Wednesday, April 27, 2022. After a five week hospitalization at Boston Children’s Hospital, Bradlee passed from this life surrounded by the love and comfort of his parents and sister. He was born in Springfield on August 16, 1996, the beloved son of Gary L. and Julie A. (Gosselin) Nadeau of Easthampton. He was currently a Student at Framingham State University, where he had just finished his Bachelor’s Degree course work and was accepted into the CPD program to get his Masters degree as a registered dietitian. His goal was to someday work at Boston Children's Hospital. He was the President of the Nutrition Club and a member of Phi Kappa Phi, an honor society for academic excellence. Prior to his academic endeavors Bradlee worked at the Williston Northampton School in Easthampton for several years. During his leisure time, Brad enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and being outdoors but his biggest passion was going to the gym to lift weights and push his physical limitations. Spending time with his dear friends meant the world to him and something Brad cherished beyond measure. Brad was known for always providing a cheery welcome and having a smile on his face, even through his intense medical struggles. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his beloved parents, he leaves his loving sister, Ashlee E. Nadeau who Brad always referred to as “Ashlee “Little Bits” Nadeau” of Westfield; his beloved paternal grandparents, Joseph R. and Doris L. (Roy) Nadeau of South Hadley; and his beloved maternal grandmother, Eileen Gosselin of Chicopee. He was predeceased by his beloved maternal grandfather, Ronald Gosselin who was Called Home in 1998 and leaves his grandfather’s wife, Susan Caron of The Villages, Florida. He will also be missed by his two dear uncles, Phil Nadeau and his wife, Candace, and Jim Gosselin and his wife, Shelly, all of Chicopee; his dear aunt, Donna Fugere and her husband, Dan, of Chicopee; his many dear cousins and extended family members; his girlfriend Savanna, and his many countless close friends. His family will receive friends on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. followed by a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. The parking lot and main entrance of the funeral home are located in the rear at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. His family will hold a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pioneer Valley Chapter 8 Club Hall, 104 West State Street, Granby, MA 01033. It is his family’s hope to spend this time to share and support each other. All are welcome to come and share this time with his family. His Burial will be private.
