Obituary

Guy G. Landry, 88, of Windsor, NH passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Magog, Quebec,Canada on January 28, 1934, the son of the late Charles and Jeanne (Gingras) Landry. He had moved to the U.S. in the 1940s with his parents and siblings John, Victor and Suzanne. He had resided in Windsor since 1991, formerly of Londonderry, NH.

He was a Mechanical Engineer at Sanders Associates (BAE) in Nashua, NH as well as Osram/Sylvania Corporation in Hillsboro, NH. An avid speed fan, Guy raced go-karts in the 1950s at the Manchester Motordome (Now called the Londonderry Speedway), as well as raced motorcycles at various racetracks throughout New England. He was the owner of Landry’s Motorcycle Sales for over 30 years with locations in Windham, NH and Salem, NH. He retired from Osram/Sylvania in Hillsboro, NH.

He is survived by five children, Maurice Landry and his wife Elizabeth of Greenfield, NH, Michael Landry and his partner Tom Albrecht of Zephyr Hills, FL, Leah Peters of Derry, NH, Henry Landry and his wife Gloria of Chichester, NH, and Marie O’Keefe and her husband Sean of Windsor, NH, and his five grandchildren, Stephanie O’Keefe, Kevin Schultz, Mark Schultz, Aimee Landry, Deidre Landry and 2 great-grandchildren, Aiden King and Jensen Main. He is also survived by his sister Suzanne Noyles of Windham, NH. He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years Rita (Desbiens) Landry in 2010, his son Roger Landry in 1977 and by his brothers John and Victor Landry.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday May 3, 2022 from 4 to 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Gilcreast Rd., Londonderry.
