Rebecca J. “Becky” (Rowe) Maliski, age 70, of Brockton, died unexpectedly at her home on April 21, 2022. Becky was the devoted companion and loving wife of Wayne T. Maliski for nearly 50 years. Born in Machias, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Pauline (Moore) Rowe. Becky was raised and educated in Brockton. She was the epitome of what a mom should be: her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life. She was the most loving, patient, kind, loyal, accepting person you could ever come across, and she lived to put a smile on the faces of anyone she knew. She made many lasting friendships throughout her career.
Becky worked on her feet every day, in shoe and production factories as well as her beloved Talbots from which she retired after ten years. She was the hardest working woman you could meet and always gave it her all. She instilled that hard working ethic in all of her children and made sure to lead by example.
In addition to her husband Wayne, Becky is survived by her children: Alan Rowe and his wife Danielle of Greenville, NH, Doug Rowe and his wife Jamie of Brockton and Keri Rowe and her husband Donald of Brockton; her grandchildren Chris, Aaron, Alex, Cierra, Hayden, Brittanie, Ashlie, Dougie, Ben, Livy and Rebecca and great-grandchildren Aubri and Cory. She was the sister of Roger Rowe of Pittston, ME and Edward Rowe of Pittston, ME. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to a charity of your choice in Becky’s honor. She particularly liked St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
