Worcester: Francis X. Brothers, 81 of Worcester passed away on Tuesday, Apr 26, 2022 surrounded by his family. Fran was born and raised in Worcester, son of the late James and Ellen Mulvaney. He was predeceased by his brothers Jack and Tom Brothers.
Fran leaves his loving wife of 58 years Sandra (Steutermann); his daughter Cheryl and her husband Christopher Root, their children Christine and Michael, his son Stephen and his wife Kathleen Brothers, their son Matthew all of Worcester. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Fran graduated from St. Peter’s High School, class of 1958. He entered the Army after graduation. Upon the completion of his basic training he was stationed in France until his discharge in 1963. On May 25, 1963 he married the love of his life Sandy. Fran was the owner of Celebrity Automated Vending Company. He had a talent for carpentry and became a Licensed Building Contractor working in that field until his retirement.
Fran was a devoted family man. His greatest joy was spending time with his wife watching their grandchildren grow. Fran was the true patriarch of his family and will be sadly missed.

All are welcome at a Mass celebrating his life being held at Christ the King Church 1052 Pleasant St Worcester, MA on Monday, May 2, 2022 at 10:30 AM and followed by burial at St. John’s Cemetery.
