Anne L. (Yore) Tyler, age 82, of Billerica, formerly of Arlington and Winchester, passed away on April 26, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard H. Tyler for 59 years until his passing in 2017.
Born in Cambridge, Anne was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Mullen) Yore. She was raised and educated in Cambridge and was a graduate of the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School.
She and Richard married and raised their family in Arlington. When their children were grown, they moved to Winchester and started their own plumbing company, where Anne was the office manager for many years. They enjoyed years of summering on the Cape in Hyannis, visiting as snowbirds to Marco Island, Florida and their timeshare in Aruba. Anne enjoyed golfing, going to the beach, and she always made time for her grandchildren and a daily walk.
Anne is lovingly survived by her children: Sheila A. Tyler of Winchester, Tim Tyler and his wife Cindy of Billerica, Julie A. Crowley and her husband Bobby of Winchester and Scott J. Tyler and his wife Lori of Tewksbury. She was the devoted grandmother of Kelly, Ashley, Melissa, John, Michael, Lindsay, Billy, Katie, Joe, Kristie, Samantha, Zach, Jake and Max, and is further survived by 13 cherished great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for Visiting Hours at the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester, on Friday, April 29 from 4-7PM, and again on Saturday, April 30 at 9AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, 155 Washington St., Winchester, at 10AM. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester.
