Jack was born in Worcester and raised in Leicester where he graduated from Leicester High School in 1999 and
went on to graduate from New England Tech in Warwick R.I. He worked for Venture Community
Services for 19 years where he currently was a Professional Development Trainer for direct care staff.
Jack was a passionate advocate for the individuals he served and loved his job. Venture Community
Services went above and beyond to support Jack through his illness.
Jack was known for his quick wit and his wealth of knowledge in many areas. He had a contagious smile
and a great sense of humor. He always looked for the positive side of a situation and managed through 6
six years of chemo, radiation and surgeries with hardly a complaint. One statement Jack would make
throughout all of this was “Some people live to be 90 and never experience the happiness I have had in
my life: A great wife, the most awesome kids, good family and friends, and what I think is the best job at
my company". Jack was truly grateful for what he had. He was an optimistic realist and an example of
love and courage to everyone who had the pleasure to know him.
Jack had many hobbies including music and playing the guitar but he really loved helping to manage the
Wolverine Clan Fantasy Football League with a group of his lifelong friends including Wayne and the
whole Witkowski family which Jack considered part of his family. All of the Wolverine Clan will agree
that they lost the best looking, funniest, charismatic, most talented, with the best strategic ability of any
team manager the world has ever seen. Like we said, Jack had a great sense of humor and will be deeply
missed by all.
