Ronald “Ronnie” Jason Connell, Jr., 50, of Orange Park, Florida passed away at UF Shands Hospital on April 24, 2022. The family is honoring his wishes of no visitation and funeral.
Born January 9, 1972, in Tifton, Ronnie was the son of Jason and Evonne Connell of Tifton. He was a retired bridge inspector for the GA DOT. He loved working with his flowers, nature photography, and bird watching. He was a huge NASCAR and college football fan as well as a history buff. After moving to Florida, he enjoyed spending time at Green Cove Springs Park.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie is survived by his wife, Nancy Reyes Connell of Orange Park, Florida; his sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Jason Johnston of Ashburn; his daughters, Anna Connell of Tifton and Elizabeth Connell of Marietta; stepsons, Peter Naddaf of Green Cove Springs, Florida and Paul Naddaf of Orange Park, Florida. Last, but not least, his favorite niece, Ella Claire Johnston. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Homer and Lenora Connell and his maternal grandparents, Nathan and Wynell Soles.
He will be greatly missed and forever loved in our hearts.
