Barbara J. (Carlson) Nicholson 87, passed away April 21, 2022 at Brookside Rehabilitation in Webster.
Her husband of 46 years, James “Jim” Nicholson, III died Augusyt3, 2003.
She leaves a son, James G. Nicholson and his wife Lisa of Webster, grandchildren: James Matthew, Sean Michael and Shannon Marie, great grandchildren; Devyn Rose and Salem, niece and nephew Andrea and Nick as well as other nieces and nephews and her Godson Jordan and a sister Bette. Barbara was born in Worcester, July 19, 1934 daughter of the late Gustaf Robert Carlson and Mathilda Margaret (Doucette) Carlson and moved to Webster 44 years ago.
She was also predeceased by brothers Butch and Rob and sisters Jean P. Walton and Eunice G. White.
Barbara was a graduate of Worcester Girl’s Trade in 1951, St. Louis Church in Webster, served as a Eucharistic Minister, St. Louis League of Catholic Women, member and past president of the Webster Emblem Club # 129, also state officer for the state association of the Emblem Club.
The family would like to thank Brookside for their loving and caring for Barbara.
Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11am on Wednesday at St Louis church,16 lake street Webster MA. ,followed by a burial next to her beloved husband Jim at Notre Dame cemetery in Worcester. There will be a calling hour Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 at Robert J. Miller Funeral Home and Lake Chapel 366 School Street Webster MA. To leave a message of condolence please visit [email protected]
