Christine Joyce (Bourassa) Westmoreland, 69, of Dartmouth, died peacefully on Friday, April 22, 2022.
Born and raised in Acushnet, she was the daughter of the late George and Delia (Nader) Bourassa.
Christine loved sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. She was always willing to help others, and earned the title "Taxi Mom" through the thousands of rides she gave her friends and family. She earned a Bachelor's degree in criminal justice and always had a passion for the justice and parole systems.
Survivors include her daughters, Shari Sylvia of New Bedford, and Tiffany Bazinet and her husband Roger of Florida; and her grandchildren, Brad, Seth, and Samantha Sylvia, Arianna Bazinet, and Emily Decelles.
She is predeceased by her brother, Marc Bourassa.
Her graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 26th at 12:30 PM in St. Mary's Cemetery located in New Bedford.
