NORTHFIELD ---- David L. O'Hearn, 82, of Northfield, NH, died on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Concord Hospital - Laconia.
David was born on February 25, 1940, in Cambridge, MA, to Leon O'Hearn and Margaret (Nadeau) O'Hearn.
David worked with his loving wife, Jerilyn, at their farm, Happy Goose Farm for over 21 years. While working at the farm, David also worked as a military power supply designer at ATC Power Systems in Merrimack, NH, until his retirement. In addition to his love for farming and gardening, David was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed being outdoors and gathering with his friends telling stories, and laughing about old times. When he wasn't outdoors he enjoyed building models of boats and carriages out of balsa wood, watching old westerns and war movies, and reading.
David is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Jerilyn (Arnold) O'Hearn, sons, Steven O'Hearn of Lowell, MA, Daniel O'Hearn and his wife Cheryl of Westford, MA, Lee O'Hearn of FL and stepson Jeremy Bernier, his wife Jennifer and their 2 sons Mason and Cole of Cranford, NJ; his brother, Robert O'Hearn of Harrisonburg, VA, and sister, Janet Brochu of Medford, MA, one niece, and four nephews. David was predeceased by both his parents as well as his brother-in-law Paul Brochu and sister-in-law Joan O’Hearn.
Graveside Services will be held Thursday, April 28, 2022, at12:00pm in Union Cemetery, Garfield Street, Laconia with Pastor Neil Wilson of the Congregational Church officiating.
