Donald Crowther, 58, a loving father, son, and brother of Little Compton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 20th, 2022.
Donald was born on May 7th, 1963. He was a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in New York and he used his skills to pursue a career in the restaurant industry. Donald worked closely with his late parents, Joan and Donald Sr., to operate the very successful, family owned, Crowther’s Restaurant in Little Compton for more than 20 years. There was no job too big or too small for Donald in the restaurant. He was a hard worker who did anything that was asked of him.
Donald was an avid Harley Davidson fan who took pride in his motorcycle. He was a rocker at heart who loved going to concerts with his brother and friends. He taught his daughters about the best classic rock bands and instilled a love of adrenaline by taking them for motorcycle rides, teaching them how to be brave to ride the biggest roller coasters, and how to safely ride an ATV. More than anything, Donald loved his family and was known for his calm, patient, and loving demeanor.
Donald is survived by his daughters, Laura Crowther and Angela Crowther and her fiancé Steven Marshall, his brother, Christopher Crowther and his wife, Im, a close companion, Priscilla So, among many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
