Maria M. (Saramago) Anderson, 58, of Londonderry, NH, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022. Daughter of Manuel and Maria Saramago, Maria was born on April 28, 1963, in Lisbon, Portugal. Maria was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt. This loss is profound, and the family is shocked and deeply saddened by her passing.
Maria was full of life and love, and always made time to help those around her. She was an active community member; sharing her creativity and time whenever needed, supporting her children in their endeavors and interests through whichever means possible. She loved her friends as family and enjoyed visiting thrift stores, attending book clubs, and “lunch bunches”. Maria went above and beyond in all aspects of her life, which was evident in the events that she hosted, no matter the size. By far her favorite pastimes were watching and visiting her grandchildren, traveling with her husband, and being with her family, whom she loved fiercely. She will be remembered as a partner, a friend, a confidant, mentor, and the best mom.
Maria is survived by her husband and high school sweetheart, Kevin Anderson. Her children; Erin Waldvogel and her husband Lee, Jason Anderson and his wife Kelly, Sarah Guilbert and her husband Scott, and Meghan Anderson and her fish Nemo. Her grandchildren; Ellyana, Elliott, Ava, Adeline, and Audrey. Her sister, Isaura Ferreira and her husband Jacinto, and many other friends and extended family who will forever miss her.
There will be a Celebration of Life held 3pm-8pm on Thursday, April 28, at Castleton in Windham, NH.
