Joseph R. Lipsett, 55, of New Bedford passed away Friday April 15, 2022 at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Donald P. Lipsett and Fern L. (Sherman) Lipsett Ferreira, he lived in Fairhaven and New Bedford for most of his life.
Joe was formerly employed as a landscaper. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed watching all of the Boston/New England sports teams.
He is survived by his siblings, Donald Lipsett and his wife Ann, Mary Canha and her companion Steven Frenette, and Carrie Manchester and her husband Jamie; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Kathleen Lipsett and uncle of the late Kristen Lipsett.
His Memorial Service will be held on Friday April 22nd at 11 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Visitation will be on Friday from 10-11 AM prior to the service.
