Cristian V. Dumitriu, D.M.D., 51, of Worcester and New Hampshire, died yesterday in St. Vincent Hospital after suffering a massive heart attack. He is survived by his mother, Maria (Florea) Dumitriu of Millbury; his sister, Roxana Herzog and her husband, Frank of Millbury; his nephew, Michael Herzog and niece, Ariana Herzog.
He was born in Constanta, Romania, his father was the late, Nita Dumitriu. Dr. Cristian Dumitriu owned and operated Able Dental, a dental practice in Worcester. He was educated in Romania and completed his studies at Boston University. Cristian was an avid car collector, who enjoyed working on them as well; he also enjoyed the outdoors, especially boating and fishing.
His funeral is Thursday, April 21st with a service at 12 Noon in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be private.
