Obituary

Louise T (Brophy) Rudolph, age 96, of East Bridgewater, MA entered into eternal rest on April 13th, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Eugene W. Rudolph for more than 50 years.

Born in Easton on January 21, 1926 she was the loving daughter of Michael D. and Mary R. (Sullivan) Brophy. She was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School. She was employed for many years at Kiddie Products in Avon along with her daughter Marsha.

Married in 1944 she had a quick honeymoon as her husband had to return to duty with the US Navy. Following his discharge, he enrolled in horticultural school in Michigan. Together with their infant daughter, Louise Gloria they spent several years in Michigan as he pursued his degree. After completing his schooling, the family moved to Whitman before purchasing their home in East Bridgewater in 1962.

Louise was spiritual and prayed the rosary daily with Mother Angelica on EWTN. Although she
had difficulty traveling in her later years, she participated in daily Mass on TV.

Louise was a devoted wife, mother and friend. She was an avid gardener, bird watcher and animal lover. She enjoyed spending time at the beach.

Louise was the mother of the late Louise Belmore, Marsha Merianos and David Rudolph. She was the sister of the late Richard, Joseph, Margaret and Anna Brophy.

She is survived by two granddaughters, Michelle Stella and Heather Furtado, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on April 26th at 11:00AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman. Visitation will be held prior to her service from 9:00-11:00AM. Burial will follow in the Vine Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
