
Salem: Annette (Beaulieu) Phenix age 91 of Salem, died Tuesday at the Grosvenor Park Nursing Home in Salem. She was the wife of the late Julien P. Phenix.
Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Timothee and Eva M. (Boisvert) Phenix. A life long resident of this city she was employed in the leather finishing industry in the greater Salem area for many years. She retired in the early 1960’s.
Annette was a devoted member of Ste. Anne Parish and was an avid Bingo player, who also loved dancing and shopping with her many friends. She was also active in the Salem Council on Aging.
Mrs. Phenix is survived by 2 nieces: Lorraine Chamberlain of Alaska and Marie Beaulieu of Oregon, and also several cousins, as well as her devoted friend Cecile Jacques and her 3 ‘adopted’ nieces: Marie Soucy of Salem, Jeanne Jacques of Florida, and Jacqueline Gaudreau of Peabody.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Saturday, May 6, 2006 at 8 am from the Levesque funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St., Salem followed by her funeral mass in Ste. Anne Church, Salem at 9 am. Visiting hours: Friday 4 to 8 pm. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
