Michael J. Rocha, 68, of Westport, peacefully passed away at home on Thursday, April 14, 2022 with his family by his side. He was a loving husband to his wife, Carolyn (Holden) Rocha.
Mr. Rocha was born in Fall River, son of the late Edmund and Janine (Pietrzyk) Rocha and had been a longtime resident of Westport. Prior to retirement, he had worked as a manager for several area businesses. His family remembers him as an honest, hardworking and kind man who always enjoyed quality time spent with family. He was a man with many hobbies and talents, an avid hunter and fisherman, he loved the outdoors. He also enjoyed golfing, playing pool, family poker nights, and riding his Harley Davidson.
Survivors along with his wife include his 3 daughters: Ronda E. Payne and her husband Brian, Jennifer L. Rocha and Stephanie A. Rocha; his brother: Edmund Rocha; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was the father of the late Todd D. Martin and brother of the late Bernadette Spicola.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, April 25, 2022 at the Potter Funeral Home at 7:30 P.M.
Memorial visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:30 P.M. prior to the service.
Interment will be private.
