Wilburn Thomas “W. T.” Boyd, Jr., 70, of Enigma passed away Friday, April 15, 2022, at the Berrien Campus of South Georgia Medical Center in Nashville. A private funeral service and burial will be held for Mr. Boyd at a later date.
Born August 22, 1951, in Tifton, Mr. Boyd was the son of the late Wilburn Thomas Boyd, Sr. and Lois Moddess Purvis Boyd. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Alma Boyd; four brothers; and two sisters. He was a sportsman and loved the outdoors and cleaning animals.
Mr. Boyd is survived by his spouse, Curtisse Boyd of Enigma; two daughters and one son-in-law, Sally Boyd of Ray City and Melissa and Kenny Cannady of Enigma; three brothers; three sisters; eight grandchildren, Morgan Stinton, Matthew Stinton, Micheal Stinton, Russell Cannady, Brandon Cannady, Amber Cannady, Breanna Cannady and Cameron Cannady; one great-grandson, Noah Bennett; and a special uncle, Arlie Purvis.
