Rosemarie (Robles) Santiago, 84, of Worcester passed to her rest on Friday, April 15th at home. She was predeceased by her husband, Armando Santiago. She is survived by four daughters, Norma Santiago, Miriam Santiago and her husband, Angel Chevere, Sonia Santiago of Worcester, Trina DeJesus and her husband, Francisco of Arroyo, Puerto Rico; two sons, Jose F. Santiago of Worcester, Armando Santiago, Jr. and his wife, Josephine of Charlotte, NC; eleven grandchildren, David Bracetti, Melissa Rivera, Jason Bracetti, Siomarie Chevere, Ricardo Rivera, Francisco DeJesus, Jr., Francis DeJesus, Lolita Alcoba, Amanda Carballo, Bryan Santiago, and Adriana Rodriguez; 29 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Jenny Rosario and brother Frank Robles Jr.
She was born in Manhattan, New York, the daughter of Frank and Maria Luisa (Feliciano) Robles. Rose worked as a laborer for many years in Worcester. She was fascinated with elephants and had an assorted collection. Her dream of riding an elephant and traveling to Mexico were both fulfilled. Rose was well known in her community due to her giving spirit. She was a generous woman who was always ready to provide assistance to anyone in need. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
