LACONIA---Donna Mae (Jones) Mercier, 65, of Lougee Court, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at her home.
Donna was born on November 1, 1956, in Cambridge, MA, the daughter of Allan C. Jones Sr. and Constance (Campbell) Jones.
Donna worked for Vernatron in the 1980's. She loved going to the ocean and collected lighthouse figurines. She always helped out any friends in need, offering them a place to live and eat until they got back on their feet. Her door was always open to family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Donna is survived by her brother Allan C. Jones Jr. of Laconia, her sisters, Karen Dognazzi and her husband David of Woodstock, GA, Sandra Page and her husband Douglas of Belmont, and Nancy Jones of Laconia, her two stepdaughters, Linda Parrish and Darlene Harris, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Donna is predeceased by her loving husband William 'Arthur' Mercier.
Per Donna's wishes there will be no Calling Hours.
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at 3:00pm, at Union Cemetery, Laconia, NH.
