CHICOPEE – Jeanne M. Loiselle, 74, of the Willimansett section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Thursday, April 14, 2022. She passed into Eternal Life at Daybrook Village in Holyoke surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Holyoke on February 8, 1948, the beloved daughter of the late Joseph D. Loiselle, Sr. and Jeannette L. (Campbell) Loiselle. She was raised in Chicopee, graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School in 1966 and had lived in Chicopee her entire life. She was employed as a Payroll Clerk at Northeast Center for Youth and Families in South Hadley and later in Easthampton. She previously worked as a Payroll Clerk at M.W. Zimmerman in Springfield and Premoid Manufacturing in West Springfield. She was a communicant of the former Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church and currently was a communicant of Sainte Rose de Lima Church, both in Chicopee. During her leisure time, she enjoyed traveling especially with her late mother and she loved taking care of her numerous cats. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. She leaves her loving brother, Joseph D. Loiselle, Jr. of Chicopee; her cherished nephew, Christopher D. Loiselle and his wife, Sharon, of West Springfield; her cherished niece, Jennifer K. Loiselle of Chicopee; her cherished grand nephew, Owen Loiselle; her close friend and “adopted brother”, William Beaulieu of Chicopee; and her many dear friends. Her Funeral will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022 beginning at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (funeral home will open at 8:30 a.m.), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Sainte Rose de Lima Church, 594 Grattan Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her Burial will follow the Mass at Sainte Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The parking lot and main entrance of the funeral home are located in the rear at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
