Aline L. (Tellier) Therrien, 94, of Tewksbury (formerly of Lawrence) passed away on April 12, 2022. She was surrounded by her loving family, the center of her life.
Aline was born and raised in Leominster, MA, where she lived until she married her adoring husband, Alfred, in 1953. They were married 58 years at his passing in 2011.
She is survived by ten loving grandchildren, who she adored immensely: Sean Spencer (and wife Kara), Richard Crowley, Dan Spencer (and his wife Andrea and daughters Kate, Audrey, and Caroline), Elizabeth Prior (and her husband Brett and daughters Caitlin and Everly), Ben Spencer (and his wife Nicole), Kara Crowley (and her fiancé Christof Franzsen), Marc Crowley (and his wife Kerry), Monica Morancy (and her husband Brian and daughter Reagan), Sarah Salminen (and her husband Zach and sons Jack and Noah), and Adam Johnson (and his fiancée Juliana Piemonte), along with their parents Michele and Tom Spencer of Woodbury, MN, Colette and Rick Crowley of Woodstock, NH/Andover, MA, and, Andree and Todd Johnson of Tewksbury, MA, with whom she lived. Aline and Alfred’s oldest daughter, Denise, predeceased them in 1958.
Aline’s passion was her family. She was the oldest daughter in a family of five children. At an early age, she took on caregiving duties for her siblings and that trait became her enduring legacy. She married Alfred in 1953, who was a blinded WWII veteran. She was cook, driver, bookkeeper, reader, and guide for the next 58 years. They raised their four daughters, and Memere later generously focused most of her time on her ten grandchildren. Aline loved to travel, especially to France and Canada. She was the quiet, selfless mother and grandmother whose foremost goal was to make everyone happy. She will be missed.
