Doris M. (Davoli) Luppi, age 94, of Medford passed away on Tuesday, April 12th. Born and raised in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Italo and Hazel (Murray) Davoli. Doris taught 5th grade at the Forest Park School for 35 years. She and her husband loved to travel cross-country with her siblings. Doris was an avid reader and loved the Red Sox, but family was always her priority.
Doris was the beloved wife of the late John Luppi, and devoted mother of Joanne Blanchette of Medford, Karen Spatola and her husband John of Medford, Christopher Luppi and his wife Maria Sweeney of Winthrop, and Kenneth Luppi and his wife Diane of Tewksbury. She was the loving grandmother of Scott Azzalina and his wife Sudarat, Robert Azzalina and his wife Desiree, Mark Spatola, Brian Spatola and his wife Barbara Konchinski, Benjamin Luppi, Sara Luppi, Megan Cederholm and her husband Logan, Matthew Luppi and his wife Courtney, Allison Luppi, Tina Sweeney and her Fiancé David Miller, and Brian Sweeney and his wife Samantha. Doris was the loving great grandmother of Dew, Sansa, Lyla, Whitney, Kendall, Theo and Brian Jr. She was the dear sister of the late Joseph L. and Donald M. Davoli, and sister-in-law of Frank and Irene Luppi, and Mary Gallo and her late husband Joseph.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Wednesday, April 20th at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, April 19th from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
