Stephen A. Garceau, 62, of Barre died Monday, April 11th at home surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his wife of 24 years, Kimberly (Bissonnette) Garceau; three sons, Kyle “Bub” Garceau of Wilmington; Chris Garceau and his wife, Candice Heins of Southern Pines, NC, and Jacob Garceau of Barre; two daughters, Laela “Princess” Garceau of Denver, and Sharon Lincoln and her husband, Taylor of South China, Maine; two brothers, Edward Garceau, and Kenneth Rizzitano; two sisters, Marie Grout and Jodi Rizzitano; two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, James Garceau.
He was born in Worcester the son of Alfred Garceau and Janice (Suprenaunt) Macjewski and graduated from South High School. Stephen worked as a laborer for most of his life and most recently worked for Leone’s Landscaping and Construction. He was an avid Bruins and Patriots Fan; and also enjoyed racing cars and watching Nascar. Stephen had a great sense of humor, enjoyed taking care of his family, and gardening with his wife. His grandchildren were his pride and joy.
Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements.
