Rodney Griner, 61, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, April 10, 2022 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 5 PM, Friday, April 15, 2022, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Rex Johnson officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Mr. Griner was born January 30, 1961, in Moultrie, Georgia, to the late Marvin & Shirley Virginia Ring Griner. He was a husband, a father, and a friend to many. Mr. Griner enjoyed fishing, hunting and yard work. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his children: Matthew Griner & Jannett of San Diego, California and Travis Griner, of Fitzgerald; siblings: Debbie Steverson & Kenny, Marvene Sherrod and Tina Futch & Roy, all of Fitzgerald; and a step-sister, Joanne Harper & Ron of Albany. And his faithful companion, Bruno.
