William M. Knowles, 57

William M. Knowles (nee Mooney), age 57 years, passed away at his home in Las Vegas on December 28, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. Billy was born in Boston and resided in Brockton, Walpole, and Los Angeles before moving to Las Vegas in 2013.
For most of his professional life, he worked in the business world of international banking for Fiserv where he was a well-respected staff member with a strong work ethic. When he moved to Las Vegas, he was employed by Nevada Surgery and Cancer Care until he was physically unable to give his usual 110% commitment.
Billy and his husband loved to welcome and to entertain visitors in their home and in the surrounding area of Spring Valley. Friends and family were apprised of what was happening in his life through many social media outlets. He enjoyed his interactions with both the Mooney and Knowles families, especially with his many cousins.
Billy leaves behind his loving spouse, Marc O. Rosales, who took amazing care of him and with whom he shared the joys and sorrows of life for over 30 years; his loving mother, Katherine Mooney, of Norton; his brother, Paul Mooney and his wife Lisa of Lakeville; his nephews, Daniel Mooney and his wife Marissa of Halifax and Mitchell Mooney of Halifax; his Uncles, Charles Knowles of Braintree, William Knowles and his wife, Joanne, of Quincy. Billy was also the nephew of late Janet Sullivan and Robert Sullivan of Hingham.
Billy also was very grateful for the caring and concern he received from his niece, Bobbie-Lynn Diebert, of Las Vegas and his dear friend, Laurie Lemieux, of Norton. He was thankful for the outstanding care and many kindnesses he received from Dr. Ren Yu Zhang of Las Vegas and the spiritual support of Rev Shawn Dresden of Las Vegas.
Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Thursday, April 21st from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp Street, Norton (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton.
His graveside service will be held on Friday, April 22nd at 11 A.M. at the Evergreen Cemetery, 1100 Washington Street, Stoughton.
