Patricia A. Henry, 71

Dateline: Mansfield, MA

Patricia A. (Berg) Henry, age 71, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, April 11, 2022. She was the beloved wife of William P. Henry, Sr., to whom she was wed on May 30, 1973.

Born in Brockton, MA on January 21, 1951, she was a loving daughter of the late John and Shirley (Johnson) Berg.

Pat grew up in Norton and Attleboro and was a graduate of Bishop Feehan High School. She was a dedicated homemaker to her adoring family and had also been employed as a supervisor at the former Village Print Woks in Attleboro Falls.

A resident of Mansfield for the past thirty-nine years, Patricia’s family was the essence of her life and she received so much pleasure spending time with her granddaughters. While her son was growing up, she was involved with Mansfield Midget Football and was a familiar face helping serve refreshments at the Hornet’s Nest concession stand. When younger, she also enjoyed playing guitar and singing.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her devoted son Sean P. Henry and his wife Christina of Attleboro. She was the cherished grandmother of Taylor and Emersyn Henry. She was the dear sister of Jack Berg of Plainville, Robert Berg and his wife Colleen of Norton, Christopher Berg of Attleboro and the late Michael Berg. She was the treasured aunt of Erin, Shaina and Brendon Berg.

Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Friday, April 15th from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp Street, (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue), Norton. Burial will be held privately at a later date at the Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield.

In lieu of flowers, Patricia’s family would prefer that donations in her memory be made to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen Street, Suite 250, Framingham, MA 01701.
