
CONCORD, N.H. — Eunice M. (Brightman) Peterson, 89, of Epsom, New Hampshire, died May 1, 2006, at CRVNA Hospice House in Concord, New Hampshire after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Edward Peterson. Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late James D., and Lillian M. (Davoll) Brightman, she lived most of her life in New Bedford and Fall River before moving to Epsom, New Hampshire to live with her sister in 2004.
Mrs. Peterson attended New Bedford High School and graduated from Truesdale Hospital where she earned her License of Practical Nursing degree. She was formerly employed by the Highland Convalescent Home in Fall River and the Hallmark Nursing Home in New Bedford. She was devoted to her family especially her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her two sisters, Ruth E. Rebello of Fairhaven and Lillian (Bunny) Entwistle of Epsom, NH. Her pre-deceased siblings were James D. Brightman Jr. of East Freetown and Helen M. Key of Fairhaven. She leaves her nieces Christine Paiva of East Freetown, Jane Brightman of NY, Leslie Hatton of South Natick, Deborah Tomascik of Fairhaven, Diane Johnston of Concord, NH and Nephew, Jeffrey Entwistle of Greenbay, WI. She also leaves behind several great nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will take place on Friday, May 5, 2006, at 11 A.M. in the Wilson Chapel, 479 County St., New Bedford, Ma. followed by burial in Acushnet Cemetery. Visitation is Thurday 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
