Deborah Jean Galvin passed away suddenly at her home in Somerville, MA on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. She was a proud lifelong resident of Charlestown.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Robert W Galvin Sr and late Agnes L (Quinn) Galvin, beloved sister to the late Robert W Galvin Jr. , Linda Yandle and late Peppy Yandle and Agnes Conley and late Michael Conley. Survived by longtime partner of 25 years, Gerald (Jerry) McIntosh of Somerville, nephew James Yandle and wife Erin of Reading, nephew Robert Yandle of Charlestown, niece Michelle Galvin and partner Mark of Boston, nephew Robert Galvin and wife Ellen of Lowell. She will also be missed by all her great nieces and nephews, Morghann McGonagle, Robert Yandle Jr, Ryan Yandle, Quinn Yandle, Nathan Yandle, Quinn Galvin-Alfeiri, Tristan Galvin-Alfeiri, Owen Galvin-Alfeiri, Chloe Galvin and Ashton Galvin.
Debbie was the type of person who lit up the room when she walked in with her signature walk. Her smile was so bright and her laugh so contagious. She was truly one of a kind and the best partner, daughter, sister, aunt and friend anyone could wish for. She will be terribly missed.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Francis De Sales Parish, Charlestown, MA on April 30, 2022 at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Charlestown Coalition, 15 Green St, Charlestown, MA 02129.
