Damon James Burns, age 35, of Medford passed away on Sunday, April 3rd, at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. Raised and educated in Medford, he was the son of the late James E. Burns and Michelle Chubbs.
Damon is survived by his beloved grandmother Mary Chubbs of Medford, his dear brother Paul Burns, his niece Mikayla Burns, and his step-mother Barbara MacNeil, all of Weymouth. He was the loving nephew of Michael and Joan Chubbs of Marshfield, and Mark and Cheryl Chubbs of Medford. Damon is also survived by his dear cousins Jodi, Michael, Jason, Ashley, Mark and Bryan.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, on Wednesday, April 13th at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, from 9 through 10:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
