Mary A. "Mona" (Rodnick) Giusto, a 32 year resident of Wilmington and former longtime resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at her Grandsons home in Methuen. She was 98 years of age.
Mona was born in Clearfield, Pennsylvania on May 25, 1923, a daughter of the late Jo Rodnick and Mary (Kurtz) Rodnick. She grew up in Minersville, Pennsylvania where she was educated throughout their public school system. Mona was a homemaker most of her adult life where she took great pride in caring for her husband and 4 children. She enjoyed going dancing with her beloved husband every Saturday night in their earlier days of marriage. She also enjoyed her many trips to Foxwoods. Family was very important in Mona's life and she took great pride spending the holiday's together with her children and their families. She was so very proud of the accomplishments of each of her grandchildren and cherished the special moments with her great-grandchildren.
Mona is the beloved wife of the late Patrick S. Giusto. She is the devoted mother of Joseph R. Giusto, Patricia Kelleher, Gary Giusto and his wife Jean, and Sharon Wilkins and her husband Paul. She is the loving Nana to Michael Giusto, Cheri Giusto, Mark and his wife Jenn Giusto, Zack and his wife Jesse Wilkins, Max and his wife Dana Wilkins, Cody Wilkins, and her great-grandchildren Ella Rose Giusto, Benjamin Giusto, Charlotte Giusto, Tess Wilkins, Patrick Wilkins, Jack Wilkins, Peyton Wilkins, and Bianca Giusto. She is the loving sister-in-law of Virginia Caso.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mona's visiting hours Wednesday morning, April 13, 2022 from 9 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 11 A.M. Her burial will be at St. Michael's Cemetery in Roslindale.
