Obituary

Marie Ondayleine Jean-Baptiste was born on March 15th, 1967
in Croix-des-Bouquets Haiti. In Haiti, she attended the Douglas
Memorial Boarding school in Saint-Marc, then the Lycee Croixdes-Bouquets, afterward she attended College Freres Antoine
also in Croix-des-Bouquets. In 1989, she married Jocelyn Colin
whom she met at a young age at her church in Cafoure New
York, they had their first child in 1994. She left Haiti in 1996 to
unite with her husband in America. Marie was a faithful servant
of God who loved being involved in the ministry. She was
present at every activity no matter what it was and always
showed up for people no matter the place or time. She always
put others first making sure her family was ok and that the
people she cared for were taken care of. She was a very
ambitious person and excelled at everything she put her mind
to. She was a woman of many talents; she loved to bake,
crochet, decorate, dance, sing and etc. In her free time, she
loved to joke around with her friends and family and loved to go
shopping. Her sense of style matched her personality, exuberant
and bright. She never missed an opportunity to have a good
time, loved to celebrate, and was always wearing a smile. Her
laughter was infectious and will be missed by all.
Those left to cherish her memory include her mother and father;
her husband Jocelyn and 4 kids, Orlens, Jocemyanda,
Wonderland, and Schneider; sister Bethsaida Y. Millien and her
husband Isaac; 3 brothers, Luquessy, Fauster, and Ojeda; 4
nieces, Fausterline, Shakina, Milédie, and Rénaya; 5 nephews,
Roolensky, Pechia, Perudy, OJ and Sebastien. She is also survived
by many loving cousins and friends. Her memory will live on in
the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with.
