DiSCIULLO, Joan A. (Pelletier) Of Needham formerly of Brookline, April 6, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Alfred “Fred” DiSciullo. Loving mother of Anne M. Jarvis and her husband Brian of Brookline, Margaret M. LaScola and her husband Paul of North Billerica, and Paul L. DiSciullo of Norwell. Grandmother of Nicholas and Robert LaScola, Abigail and Emma Jarvis, and Matthew and Sara DiSciullo. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Joan was a graduate of Cardinal Cushing College, Brookline and received her Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University. She had an extensive career with the Veterans Administration for over 25 years. She was an active parishioner of St. Joseph Church, Needham and St. Lawrence Church, Chestnut Hill. She enjoyed traveling and reading but most of all enjoyed her family and friends.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave., Needham on Monday, April 11 at 10am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Needham at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Sunday, April 10 from 3-7pm. Interment in Walnut Hills Cemetery, Brookline.
