Mr. Paul R. Alley, a longtime resident of Medford and beloved husband of the late Sara L. (McCarthy) Alley, passed away at the Woburn Nursing Center in Woburn, Massachusetts, on Sunday evening, April 3, 2022. He was 88 years old.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on February 18, 1934, he was the beloved son of the late George and Margaret L. (Collins) Alley. Paul was a US Air Force veteran and attained the rank of A3C. He received his honorable discharge on July 31, 1961. In civilian life, Mr. Alley worked as a Truck Driver for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching western movies, listening to western music and routing for the Bruins. He will be dearly missed.
Paul is survived by his loving children; Robert and his wife Joanne Alley of Medford, Brian and his former wife Denise Alley of Gardner, Sean Alley and his partner Elaine Lunardi of Medford and Sharon Verge of Salem, New Hampshire, grandchildren; Jessica, Justin, Anthony, Regan, Dalilah, Frankie and Tessa and nieces; Susan and Karen.
His funeral Service will be celebrated in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Monday, April 11, 2022, at 2 PM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home, prior to the service, from Noon to 2 PM. Interment will be held in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
