Bernard “Bernie” Condelli, 77, of Dennisport, MA passed away on March 29th, 2022 at Cape Cod Hospital with his loving wife of 49 years, Nancy (Leary) by his side. Bernie was born on March 23rd, 1945 in Boston, MA to the late Peter and Rose (Bucceri) Condelli.
Bernie is survived (as the Best Dad in the World) by daughter Eliza Condelli and her husband Junior of Exeter, NH and son Peter Condelli of West Dennis, MA. He was the beloved Grandpa of Patrick, Emily, Cayla and Autumn Condelli. He is also survived by sisters-in-law Barbara Liberatore and husband Richard, Jean Bokuniewicz and husband Lester, lifelong friend Bob McDonough, many Cape Cod friends and was Uncle Bernie to many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Bernie was predeceased by his four older sisters who doted on their little brother: Mary Finocchiaro (husband Sonny), Millie Zucco (husband Phil), Olly Limone (husband Peter) and Rosalie Zucco (husband Joe). Bernie was self-employed for many years as owner and chef of Salem Street Deli in Medford, Francesco’s in the North End and Bernardo’s Restaurant in Kingston, NH. He lived on the Cape for over 20 years and had the good fortune of living the good life and spending summer days at the beach. He loved music (especially old Italian love songs) and could always be found singing at a party, in his recliner or on the deck with neighbors from the circle. Now he is in the arms of God. Rest in peace.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, April 4th from 11 AM through 1 PM in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, MA, followed by private burial in Medford.
