John Vincent Bissanti, 56, of Franklin died March 26 in Milford Regional Medical Center following a long illness.
Born in Norwood, July 30, 1965, the son of the late Walter and Paula V. (Hayes) Bissanti, Mr. Bissanti was a lifelong Franklin resident.
A graduate of Tri County High School, John had been a lineman for Amtrak for many years before retiring due to his health.
Since retiring John enjoyed the outdoors. He loved taking care of his yard, building rock walls, chopping wood, fishing and riding his Harley.
He is survived by his siblings, Douglas Bissanti, Patrick Bissanti and Andrea MacDonald.
He is also survived by his uncle Edward ”Chiefy” Bissanti and his wife Joyce and his Aunts Anne Bissanti and Miriam Bissanti and many cousins.
John also leaves his beloved dog Toby.
His funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 29 in St. Mary’s Church Franklin at 10:00 a.m. To view the Mass on livestream : stmarysfranklin.org
