On Saturday, March 12, 2022, Lesley Johnson departed this life at the age Of 63. Born at City of Boston Hospital to Margaret Harvin and,James E. Johnson. Lesley was the ninth child of 12 siblings. As be got older, he loved quoting the bible. Lesley attended the United Emmanuel Holiness Church with his family under the direction of Pastor Pain, then Pastor Samuel Anderson. Later in life we moved on to attend the church A Voice in the Wilderness Ministries Church in Grove Hall, under Reverend Anthony S. Medford and Sister Grace Medford.
Lesley attended the Francis Parkman Elementary School on Walk HIill Street, before graduating at the Washington Irving High School on Cummins Highway. He loved solving problems; every summer be would pretend he was having school with the local children in the back of the home we lived in at 60 Brookway Road Roslindale. He was kind, gentle and giving, Lesley enjoyed the music be grew up with which gave him comfort and joy to sing. Lesley had dealt with a lot in his life, which haunted him for years even up to his passing, be is now home and at peace with his Lord.
'Lesley leaves behind a brother David L. Johnson residing Randolph, Ma., and a nephew Reign, He is .survived by a sister Cynthia A. Johnson, niece Juliana M. Johnson-Hudson, friend Charles W. Martin residing at 36 Baker Road in Hyde Park MA. Niece Jeannine V. Johnson and son Jeremiah J. Johnson living at 34 McCluster Road Braintree.
Brother in-law Oswald Hankerson, nephew Andre and Andre Jr. living at 778 Canterbury Road in Roslindale, and a niece and her husband, Elena and Brad Durkee who lives in Montpelier Vermont Sis!er Edna in Michigan, Sister Frances in Baltimore.
His nieces and Nepbew, Leah and husband Mark Berryhill, Robert and Renita Murphey, Natalie, and Mark Jr, residing in Roslindale. Sonya Murphy who lives in Quincy; Daughter Alecia who resides in Randolph and Saleab Berrybill, residing in Boston and Wayne Murphy and children in Pittsburgh.
Sister- in-law Patty Mitchell in Brookline, Christopher Eric and wife Kisha Mitchell their children Camron and Christopher Junior (C.J.) in Watertown, Stephen Mitchell, his children
Sofia and Marcus and mother Beatrice, a host of Older Cousins around the United States and close cousins here at home, family and friends much loved and adored.
