Michele A. Mello, age 55, a lifelong resident of Norton, passed away in the comfort of her home, with her loved ones by her side on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. She was the former wife and best friend of Richard J. Talbot of Mansfield.
Born in Attleboro, MA on May 26, 1966, she was a loving daughter of the Robert M., Sr. and Marion A. (LaPalm) Mello.
Michele grew up in Norton and was educated in Norton schools. In addition to being a dedicated homemaker to her adoring family, Michele was also the proud owner of the Fine Line Painting Company, a job she truly loved.
Michele’s family, especially her treasured grandchildren were the focal point and essence of her life. Along with her family, Michele attended Saint Mary’s Church in Norton and always had a special place in her heart for animals. She also enjoyed the beach, swimming and throughout her life, any obstacles she faced, she faced them head on and always with a bright smile on her face.
In addition to Richard, she is survived by her devoted daughters Rachael Hodson and her husband Joshua of Attleboro, Alicia Talbot and her husband Christopher of Attleboro and Janice Poitras and her husband Matthew. She was the dear sister of Janice Goulet and her husband Rene of Falmouth, Corinne Kessmaul and her husband John of South Attleboro and Robert Mello, Jr. of Mansfield. She is also survived her cherished 8 grandchildren, as well as her loving nieces, nephews and many family friends.
Her Funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Saturday, April 2nd at 11:00 A.M. in Saint Mary’s Church, 1 Power Street, Norton. Burial will be private.
At the conclusion of services on Saturday, a reception and continued celebration of her life will be held at her residence in Norton.
Visiting hours are omitted and in lieu of flowers, donations in Michele’s memory may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
