Ralph Guerriero, Jr., age 93, of Mansfield, formerly of Walpole and Roslindale passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at the VA Medical Center in Brockton. He was the beloved husband of Henrietta J. (Carmintrand) Guerriero.
Born in Boston, MA on April 9, 1928, he was a loving son of the late Ralph, Sr. and Jennie (DiNatale) Guerriero.
Ralph grew up in East Boston and was educated in Boston schools. During the time of the Korean War, he proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army.
Prior to retiring, Mr. Guerriero was a carpenter, having worked for the Local 40 Carpenters Union in Cambridge for thirty-five years. Well into his retirement, he continued working on carpentry projects.
Ralph had made his home in Mansfield for the past sixteen years and was a communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Norton. His family was the love of his life and vacationing with his wife, family and friends made memories that will last forever. Ralph also enjoyed good Italian food, music, singing at family functions and always being there to lend others a helping hand.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his devoted children Deborah Coakley of Norton, Paul Guerriero and his wife Michelle of Norton and the late Ralph Daniel Guerriero. He was the cherished grandfather of Michael, Kerrin, Sean, Dyana, Daniel and the great grandfather of Audrey, Adrian, Gabriella and Alex. He was the dear brother of the late Louis Guerriero, Nicholas Guerriero, Emily Guerriero, Sally Guarnera, Phyllis Collarusso and is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, March 29th from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 30th at 10:00 A.M. in Saint Mary’s Church, 1 Power Street, Norton. Burial, along with military honors will follow at the Norton Common Cemetery in Norton.
