NO. OXFORD: Roswell D. "Pete" Johnson, 85, of No. Oxford, died Tuesday, March 22 at Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge. He leaves 4 sons; David Johnson and his wife Cheryl of Warren, Brian Brousseau and his wife Patricia of Leicester, Michael Johnson of Brimfield and Ronald Johnson of Rochdale, 5 grandchildren; Angela, David and Melody Johnson, Kevin Brousseau and his wife Carly, and Daniel Brousseau, 5 great grandchildren; Faith Chrapek, Michael and Riley Johnson, Mark and Cole Brousseau, his sister Jacqueline Fyrberg and her husband George of Spencer, his brother Edward Ashworth and his wife Carol of Spencer, a sister-in-law Jane St. Jean, and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his wife Nancy C. (St.Jean) Johnson who died in 2020 and three brothers Gerald, Richard & Donald Johnson. Pete was born in Vinalhaven, Maine the son of Donald H. and Evelyn L. (Kay) Johnson. He owned and operated Pete Johnson Trucking. At his request no services are planned. There are no calling hours. A Celebration of Nancy & Pete's life will be held privately. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Second Chance Animal Services, P.O. Box 136, East Brookfield, MA 01515. The MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester is assisting the family with arrangements.
