CHICOPEE - Jeannette M. (Landry) Maslak, 85, of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. She passed into Eternal Life at home surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Springfield on June 4, 1936, a beloved daughter of the late Frederick C. and Orise (Peloquin) Blette Landry. She was raised and educated in Springfield and had moved to Chicopee in 1962 where she lived the remainder of her life. She was a loving homemaker to her family and enjoyed spending time with all of her family and many friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband and soul mate, Joseph S. "Dude" Maslak who was Called Home on December 11, 1999. She leaves her two loving children, Laurie A. Judd and her husband, Thomas, of Agawam and Brian S. Maslak and his wife, Jody, of Chicopee; her three cherished grandchildren, Amber Maslak, Jennifer Judd and Meghan Pistacchio and her husband, Nick; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and numerous friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her five dear brothers, Roland, Norman, Conrad, Gerald and Marcel Blette; and her four dear sisters, Lorraine Blette, Claire White and her husband Robert White, Sr., Yvette White and her husband, Richard, and Anita Flathers and her husband, Frederick; and her dear brother in law, Stanley Maslak. Visiting Hours will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by an 11 a.m. Prayer Service at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Springfield Chapels, (413-737-1177), 7 Chapin Terrace, Springfield, MA 01107. Her Burial will be held at a later date at Saint Michael Cemetery in Springfield.
