Carol A. Rogers, 78

Dateline: Mansfield, MA

Carol A. (Mosley) Rogers, age 78, a resident of the Village at Willow Crossings of Mansfield, formerly of Sharon and Canton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of Charles L. Rogers, to whom she was wed for 58 years.

Born in Boston, MA on April 4, 1943, she was a loving daughter of the late John and Florence (Alsop) Mosley.

Carol grew up in Canton and was a 1961 graduate of the former Cardinal Cushing High School in Boston. She had made her home in Mansfield for the past 2 ½ years and was a former 55 year resident of Sharon.

A dedicated homemaker to her adoring family, Carol was the retired proud owner of C & C Party Specialists in Sharon. She had formerly worked at Dorothy Jean’s Bakery in Canton, where she met her future husband and the love of her life, Charlie.

Carol’s family, especially her grandchildren, were the love and focal point of her life. Her art for cake decorating was truly unique and she enjoyed passing her skills on to others. While a resident of Sharon, she was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Couples Club and in later years, enjoyed socializing with friends at the Sharon Senior Center.

Along with her husband, Carol enjoyed worldwide traveling, as well as spending time at the beach, walking at Borderland State Park in Easton and she will always be remembered for her talent in crafts.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her devoted children Chuck Rogers and his wife Laura of Mansfield, Chris Rogers and his wife Shawn of Knoxville, TN, Colin Rogers of Norton and Cassandra Hahn and her husband David of Foxborough. She was the cherished grandmother of Brianna, Fischer, Charlie, Gunner, Erin, Barry, Rivers, Liam and Teagan. She was the dear sister of Stephen Mosley of Plymouth, the late Jack Mosley and is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, March 26th from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.

Her funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 27th at 11:00 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.

In lieu of flowers, Carol’s family has requested that donations in her memory be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverly Oakes Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
