Obituary

Worcester – Anthony J. Mallett, 59, of Worcester, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2022 in UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus after a brief illness.

Anthony is survived by his wife of 20 years, Alison (Ordway) Mallett; his children, Anthony J. Mallett Jr. of Webster, John Leonard of Worcester, Rose Leonard of Worcester, Trevor Mallett of Worcester, Daniel Mallett of Worcester and Kyle Mallett of Worcester; his two brothers, Raymond Mallett and Donald Mallett of Worcester; two sisters, Linda Booker and Viola Rodriguez of Worcester; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and many nephews and nieces.

Mr. Mallett was born in Worcester, son of the late George A. Mallett Sr. and Dorothy P. (Tebo) Mallett and is also predeceased by 5 brothers and a sister.

Tony worked his entire career in the construction industry and was a skilled, roofer, painter and carpenter. When he was not working he could often be found playing pool, fixing things around his house or spending time with his family and friends.

Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Thursday, April 7, in Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester.
