On Sunday, March 20, 2022, Sarah (Sally) Norma Duffina Smigielski, loving mother of six children passed away at the age of 84. Sally was born in Charlestown, MA to Virginia and George Beck. She received her respiratory therapy training at Massachusetts General Hospital where she worked for 25 years before retiring.
Sally loved to read and travel, but the light of her life was the time she spent with children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her dedication to this light enabled her to keep the greeting card industry flourishing.
Sally was preceded in death by her father George and her mother Virginia. She is survived by her six children, Mary, Kevin, Sean, Rita, John, Patricia, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022 at the Manchester Vineyard Community Church, 750 Pine St., Manchester, NH 03104 at 11:00am. In-lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry are assisting the family with arrangements.
